Practice what you preach! Annmarie lives and breathes pilates. In a career spanning over 18 years, she has amassed over 20 sets of qualifications (and growing) from 4 separate pilates schools – Polestar, National training center, Bodyfirm and Balanced Body. She is certified to teach mat, reformer, barrel, arc, trap, tower, yoga, small equipment and barre. A studio and rehabilitation pilates specialist- her work has extended to working with some of the worlds foremost track and field athletes including members of the US, Jamaican, Dutch and Irish Olympic track teams.
Regarded throughout the industry as one of its most experienced instructors – her combination of knowledge, exciting delivery style and movement imagery is what draws her clients into a love for the pilates method, developing movement literacy en route. Annmarie has a FUNdamental movement philosophy, If her students can learn to move in all directions with control, the options available in terms of variety of exercise choice are endless.
When not teaching, she stays active with mountain walking, enjoys great food and plays the piano.
